Johnson & Johnson announced Acuvue Vita for Astigmatism is available in expanded parameters, which bring patient coverage of the product up to nearly 96%. Across the full power range (-9.00 to +6.00), Acuvue Vita for Astigmatism will now offer around-the-clock coverage in 10° increments up to -2.75 D cylinder. The new parameters are available for order in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, the company said in a press release.

Johnson & Johnson said the Acuvue Vita Brand Family offers new monthly wearers an extensive range of parameters to help meet the vision needs of astigmatic patients. According to the company, Acuvue lenses feature Blink Stabilized Design for exceptional vision, stability, and comfort —4 stability zones harness the power of the eye blink and are more resistant to the effects of gravity, and a prism-free optic zone avoids vertical prism disparity challenges for monocular astigmats like headaches and discomfort.
