BioTissue announced the appointment of Rocco Venezia, CPA, as CFO. Venezia succeeds longtime BioTissue CFO Mike Cornelius, who retires after 13 years of service to the company.

Venezia joins BioTissue from Intercept Pharmaceuticals, where he most recently served as CFO and led enterprise-wide finance operations, strategic planning, capital management, and financial transformation initiatives. During his 10-year tenure at Intercept, he progressed through several leadership roles, including corporate controller, before being named CFO.
